2cupscoarsely milled whole wheat(Ancient grains are our favorite, but either hard or soft wheat work just as well)
Instructions
On medium heat, bring four cups of water to a boil in a medium size pot and add the salt.
Grind two cups of wheat on a coarse setting of your mill. (See above pictures for reference.)
Using a whisk, stir in the course wheat slowing and break up any lumps that form. Reduce the heat to low and gently stir with a wooden spoon for another minute or two as it thickens. Serve hot with butter, cream, sweetener and toppings of choice.
